Mr. Stephen Beskid of St. John the Baptist Church, Warren, Ohio, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the age of 88.

Stephen (Class of '53 ) was appointed the Circulation Librarian in 1964 and served faithfully in that position until his retirement in the mid-80s. He was known by generations of students for his kind and gentle manner. He was much loved and respected, and always lent a helping hand and offered kind words to his colleagues and seminarians. May his memory be eternal!

A litia service for the repose of his soul will be served after the vespers service, which begins at 5 p.m., in the seminary chapel of The Three Hierarchs on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
