Welcome to the choral musician site for Orthodox Education Day!
Singers in all voice parts are invited to join with members of the greater St. Vladimir's community in singing responses for the October 4, 2008 Orthodox Education Day hierarchical Divine Liturgy. New this year, you will have the opportunity to sing with our students in one of two choirs under the direction of Alla Generalow, Director of Liturgical Music, and Mark Bailey, Director of the Peter Prokofieff Advanced Certificate in Liturgical Music.
To ensure a prayerful and devout musical experience, the Liturgy's antiphonal singing will require preparation and rehearsal. Because travel to St. Vladimir's is a challenge due to distance for many, only one rehearsal is scheduled for this event:
