It's not easy to live as a Christian in a world where the Gospel is marginalized, where Christian values are scorned, and where an Orthodox vision of life is challenged by other visions. What is a young believer to do? Come and find out!

Speakers

  • Dr Peter Bouteneff is the Assistant Professor of Dogmatics, and also lectures on Orthodox Spirituality. Among his theological interests are Christ, the human person, and the Church.

  • Fr Timothy Blumentritt, a pastor for 7 years, is a lecturer in pastoral theology at the seminary. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Theology at Boston College.

  • George Hazlaris is a graduate of Holy Cross School of Theology. Currently he is a district director for the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese.

Discussion Leaders

  • Did you ever wish you could get to know the seminary's faculty? Here's your chance. Several of them will lead discussion groups.

  • Retreat for high school and college students ages 16-22
  • Registration begins at 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 26, 2002
  • Retreat ends with lunch on Saturday, December 28, 2002

Cost

  • The $65 registration fee will cover room, board, and an excursion.
