SVS Dean Fr John Behr spent the first weekend of Great Lent in Michigan. His first stop was a visit to St Mary Magdalene Church in Fenton where alumni Fr Paul and Mat. Michelle Jannakos (SVS ’83) serve. At St Mary Magdalene’s, Fr John spoke on Ministry and Mission in a Parochial Context. Fr John also visited with long-time SVS Board of Trustee member Leon Lysaght. On Sunday, he delivered the sermon at the Sunday of Orthodoxy Vespers held at the Antiochian Orthodox Basilica of St Mary in Livonia where the Very Rev. George Shalhoub is the parish priest.
