Holy Week and Pascha at St Vladimir's Seminary: The Greatest Learning PDF Print E-mail

Resurrection icon svotsThe students and faculty of St Vladimir's Seminary enjoy a peaceful Bright Week vacation, after celebrating the joyful Feast of Feasts of the Resurrection of our Lord and a full and solemn Holy Week together. Learning intensifies at St Vladimir's Seminary during these most holy days of the year, even though all classes are suspended. Through out Holy Week students spend more than 35 hours in church singing, chanting, serving, praying, kneeling, prostrating, venerating, processing, repenting and celebrating. As the student body is immersed in worship, the theology from the classroom comes to life in the chapel and the deeper meanings are revealed.

Photographs from these beautiful services of Holy Week and Pascha are available.

Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
