SVOTS in Your Neighborhood: Dean, Chancellor, Faculty Travels
Date:January 2, 2013 - December 31, 2013
Our Chancellor/CEO The Very Rev. Dr. Chad Hatfield frequently travels around the country—preaching in parishes, teaching at other seminaries, touring with our Men's Choir, engaging in inter-Orthodox and ecumenical dialogue, and even leading missionary teams. It's his way of connecting with alumni, friends, donors, and potential students, informing them of what's happening at our school and receiving feedback as to how the seminary might better serve them and the Church at-large. We hope you meet up with Fr. Chad if he visits your locale; he will warmly greet you.
Our Dean the Very Rev. Dr. John Behr travels nationally and internationally: visiting parishes and clergy assemblies to present retreats and book studies, meeting with administrators from Orthodox Christian seminaries throughout the world, speaking at colleges and universities, and serving on many non-profit boards. Father John is a renowned scholar of the church fathers, and he lectures both in academic circles and in popular venues. Be sure to meet and hear Fr. John at one of the many venues he will visit in 2012.
Members of the St. Vladimir's Seminary Faculty speak in numerous venues in North America and abroad. Their travels are both academic and pastoral in nature, as they participate in colloguia, present papers, represent the Church in ecumenical fora, and also serve as retreat speakers and discussion leaders in events sponsored by parishes and organizations of all jurisdictions.
