SVS Church School Coordinator Katrina Bitar 2nd-year seminarian in the Master of Arts program at SVS, decided to punctuate the season of Advent with a series of activities centered on charity.

Visit to Sunrise Assisted Living Facility

SVS church school students visited the nearby Sunrise Assisted Living facility on December 14, 2008, to sing Christmas carols, build gingerbread houses, and share in conversation and fun with residents of the center.


SVS Church School teen group

During the Advent season the teens of the SVS church school researched and presented reports on Orthodox Christian service organizations throughout the world, to the SVS campus community.
