George L. Parsenios is an associate professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he has taught since 2002 and was granted tenure in 2009. His teaching and research explore the interaction of early Christianity with classical literature, with particular attention on the Gospel of John. He regularly teaches courses at PTS on the Gospel of John, First Corinthians, and Paul the Pastor. He has given lectures and retreats at Orthodox Churches around the country, and is a member at the St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church in Flemington, N.J., with his wife Maureen and their three children, Nicholas, Julia, and Constantine.
