Mariam Ceena Varghese
Mariam Ceena Varghese holds two degrees from St. Vladimir's Seminary: Th.M. ('10) and M.A. ('09). Her Master of Theology thesis, titled "A Guide to the Liturgical Services of the Orthodox Syrian Church: Translation and Analysis," attests to her facility with languages of importance to Oriental Orthodox Christians. This year at SVOTS, she will teach a course in Malayalam, one of the major languages of southern India. Currently, Ms. Varghese is the Resource Coordinator of the Youth and Young Adult Ministries Department of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. She also serves as a curriculum writer for an Orthodox project of Gospel Light Worldwide & World Vision/MEER. In addition, she is involved in various ministries of the Malankara Orthodox Church.
