Madalina’s background includes a professional diploma in classical ballet from Romania, a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Stony Brook University (Summa cum Laude), and a master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Hunter College. She homeschools her three children; does translation work for monasteries in Romania and the United States; and marvels at God’s mercy for the opportunity to work for SVS Press, her second home and family, a blessed place filled with wonderful people in the service of the Lord. She loves the Mother of God, whose imitator she strives (but constantly fails) to be.
