Just as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the apostles fasted and prayed, so we fast and pray. During the Apostles’ Fast, we meditate on the glory of God as we prepare to observe the feast of the Holy Glorious and All-Praised Leaders of the Apostles, Saints Peter and Paul.
