Laura Ionescu

Administrative Coordinator

Laura was born and raised in Northern California, where she attended a Romanian Orthodox parish in Sacramento. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Biology from the University of Redlands, initially intending to pursue a career in the biomedical sciences. Over time, however, her vocation shifted toward service in the Church, leading her to enroll at St. Vladimir’s Seminary to study Sacred Arts.

During her seminary years, Laura was trained in choir conducting, served on the Student Council, and participated in various campus societies. Her growing interest in conducting and pastoral leadership prompted her to transfer from the Master of Arts in Sacred Arts (M.A.) program to the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program. After graduating in the spring of 2025, she served as a staff member for CrossRoad Institute before returning to St. Vladimir’s Seminary as Administrative Coordinator.

Having cherished her three years as a student, Laura is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Seminary community from the administrative side. She remains actively involved in chapel life as a choir conductor and is dedicated to fostering the growth and vitality of the campus community.
