Abby is a graduate of St. Vladimir’s Seminary (M.A. 2025). She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Johns Hopkins University. After being home with her four children for eighteen years—including fourteen as a homeschooler—she gained experience in higher education administrative support through positions in Undergraduate Admissions and Commons Desk Operations at Penn State University; in customer service through jobs at the Bryce Jordan Center and in the cheese shop at Wegman’s; and in special education through working with students, ranging in age from three to twenty-two, with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. She is the wife of Dr. Michael Legaspi, Associate Professor of Old Testament at St. Vladimir’s Seminary; the mother of Josiah, Sister Glykeria, Ana, and Cato; the mother-in-law of Claire and Ryan; and the dog mom of Yorkie Grumio and dog grandma of Shih-tzu Jericho. She relishes time with all of them and also enjoys singing in the choir at Three Hierarchs Chapel and in the St. Vladimir’s Seminary Chorale, baking, and visiting family in Colorado, Kansas City, and Pennsylvania.
