Christina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Connecticut College. She is a seasoned data analyst and audience research strategist with over a decade of experience translating complex digital, market, and consumer data into actionable insights for major media organizations. Prior to working at the Seminary, she led quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, acted as the primary digital analytics expert for several platforms, and developed custom research projects to support advertising revenue and business intelligence. Her career also includes key analytical, product management, and client relationship roles.
Born and raised in the Orthodox Christian faith, Christina carries a deep familial connection to the Church and the Seminary itself. She is the granddaughter of Seminary alumnus and former faculty member and trustee the Very Rev. Paul Shafran (class of 1945). Christina was baptized at St. Innocent Orthodox Church in Tarzana, CA, and raised in the parish community of St. Vladimir Orthodox Church in Trenton, NJ. She currently attends Nativity of the Holy Virgin in Charlotte, NC.
She is the wife of Jonathan Christ, mother to Jack and Annelise Christ, and cat mom to Lieu and Gizmo.
