Georgios has a background in layout/graphic design and IT consulting for media in Astoria, NY. Employed by a technology consulting firm in NYC, he was assigned to support two locations: “a school”, (as he was told) and the American Bible Society. Being raised an Orthodox Christian and unaware of SVOTS existence, it was a great surprise and blessing to be greeted at that "school" by an orthodox deacon in a building full of orthodox icons. St Vladimir’s has been his school since March 2008.
