[img_assist|nid=18933|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=309|height=400]View a list of earlier presenters of the Father Alexander Schmemann Memorial Lecture The Reverend Dr. John Chryssavgis, Archdeacon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, will be the presenter at the 33rd Father Alexander Schmemann Memorial Lecture on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at 7 p.m. The lecture is titled, "Toward the Holy and Great Council: Retrieving a Culture of Conciliarity and Consensus," and will be held in the Metropolitan Philip Auditorium of the John G. Rangos Family Building on our campus. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Dr. John McGuckin , a leading international commentator on Eastern Orthodox theology and early Christian history. The free and public lecture, Friday, January 31, 2014, will be immediately preceded by an academic convocation at 7:00 p.m., at which Fr. John will be awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree honoris causa .
